Our Founder and Director
Mark Hook is the founder and director of MDH Legal Costs Ltd. He began his career in legal costs in August 1988, and then sat and passed the Associate’s exam (of the Association of Law Costs Draftsmen, as it was then) in 1995; and then sat and passed the Fellowship exam in 1998. Upon the Association of Law Costs Draftsmen becoming the Association of Costs Lawyers, Mark was one of the first Cost Lawyers in 2007. He is also an accredited mediator with Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR).
He founded MDH Legal Costs Ltd in 2023, with these values at its heart: honesty, transparency, experience, and 100% commitment to his clients’ best outcomes.
